Adjust cabinet doors that won’t close properly | Anthony’s Guide to Home DIY

—————————- Transcript below —————————-

Who forgot to close the cabinet door?
Hey? It just doesn’t close properly!
In this episode of Anthony’s DIY Workshop, let’s find out how to fix this!
Cabinet doors cannot close properly when the two doors are not levelled.
Now, I’m going to adjust this cupboard hinge.
There are two screws on a cupboard hinge. One controls the forward/ backward tilt, the other controls the left/ right tilt. Loosen the screw that controls the forward/ backward tilt. Now you can move the door forward and backward.
When you tighten the screw that controls the left/ right tilt, the door will shift to the right. When you loosen it, the door will shift to the left.
Since this cabinet door has a left/right tilt problem, you don’t have to adjust the forward/ backward screw. Just loosen the other screw to close the space between the door and the cabinet.
When the door is balanced, it will shut properly. Let’s try it out.
Almost there. Just loosen it a bit more. And now it’s done.
Adjusting a cupboard hinge is just that easy. See you in the next episode, bye bye!
