God… Every time I drill holes in ceramic tiles, I need an electric drill, and a hydraulic driver. Is there a simpler, less hassling way to do this?

Anthony! I have a question to ask!

Today, let me teach you a simple way to drill holes in bathroom tiles!

We all know that to bore holes in kitchen and bathroom tiles, we need two sets of tools. One with a diamond grit hole saw, another with a carbide-tipped drill bit.

This is actually quite a hassle.

Nowadays, hydraulic drills with a tile-drilling function is available on the market, like this one.

Besides the normal functions a hydraulic drill has, this impact drill has a tile-drilling function.

The operation is very simple.

First, press the ‘tiles’ button, the light should turn green.

Then, turn the knob on the drill to ‘hammer-drilling’ function. Now you can insert a carbide-tipped drill bit and start drilling the tiles.

After switching to the ‘tiles’ function, half-press the trigger switch to activate the PULSE ASSIST function. The drill will now hammer at the tile surface in a pulsating fashion.

After the glaze is broken, press the trigger switch fully to drill into the tile.

If you find the drilling speed of the pulsating mode too slow, turn off the ‘tiles’ function and drill at full speed.

Easy tile-drilling is just that simple. See you in the next episode, bye!
